We love what we do and it feels great when our clients feed back about how they feel we have helped them as well as those in their care. Connecting with young people and giving them a helping hand through the ups and downs of life is what we are here for.

Special Educational Needs Coordinator

Cambian Devon School, Paignton
Symon at Nature’s Challenge worked very closely with Devon School for over year offering support to a student and family in crisis. Symon went above and beyond to support the family with their education and care needs and was involved in all the multiagency meetings for the family. I would thoroughly recommend Natures Challenge and the service they provide.

Youth Offending Team Officer

Devon County Council YOS
Nature’s Challenge CIC work relentlessly and extremely hard to reach young people to provide bespoke education and activities which are tailored to their specific needs. The level of commitment is second to none and their tireless consistent approach is vital for young people who have often suffered trauma and adversity and would otherwise be educationally marginalized due to their consequential behaviour. Nature’s Challenge understands and gives much needed support.

The integrity, professionalism and duty of care shown by Nature's Challenge CIC has meant that Devon County Council Children’s Services have been happy to build a strong partnership that benefits young people within our care. They develop strong relationships with the young people they work with and go beyond the call of duty when working with complex cases to achieve positive outcomes for our young people.

Permanence and Transition Team

Children’s Social Care, Devon County Council
Nature’s Challenge have made significant contributions towards the holistic support we provide to some of our most vulnerable young people in Exeter area. Symon has played pivotal roles in helping us to reach a few our difficult-to-reach care leavers. Through Symon’s great knowledge of Devon’s local communities and the network he has built over the years, his role was crucial in helping us trace an elusive young man whose disappearance got a multi-agency group of professionals intensely worried due to his mental health issues which put him at high risk of self-harming and suicide ideation. Symon has the knack to connect with young people on an emotional level and inspire them to engage in educational and adventurous outdoor activities. He is also a great mentor of boys.
